Guitar World: os 100 piores solos de guitarra da história

Após duas décadas detonando, a Guitar World resolveu bombardear alguns monstros sagrados em um guia definitivo dos piores solos de guitarra.

Todo guitarrista, não importa se é o melhor do mundo, tem seus momentos ruins, ou algum solo horrível. Lendas como Hendrix, Page, Hammett e Harrison já tiveram seus momentos de total falta de inspiração, e também ocasiões em que a pretensão superou a técnica. Isso não é nada de anormal.

Quer dizer - não é, a menos que alguém tenha registrado isso em um álbum.

Em um raro momento de pura malícia e sacanagem, a Guitar World pediu a vários colaboradores para identificar alguns trabalhos em que os maiores heróis da guitarra fizeram suas maiores cagadas. E, amigos, raramente vimos nossos colaboradores tão empolgados com uma tarefa. Parece que nada deixa um jornalista mais criativo do que pedir que ele destile sua maldade em cima de algum ícone adorado. Embora nossos escritores tenham voltado suas baterias para os solos mais chatos e inegavelmente ineptos, alguns resolveram se divertir detonando performances tecnicamente perfeitas, mas também entediantes, auto-indulgentes ou apenas totalmente absurdas. Outra diversão que eles amaram foi escolher qualquer coisa que envolvesse, mesmo remotamente, os talentos de C.C. DeVille, do Poison.

Na boa, nós gostamos do colorido Sr. DeVille, mas infelizmente alguém tem que ser a vítima, e achamos que é a vez de C.C. ser sacaneado. Mas ele não deve levar isso tão a sério. O extravagante roqueiro com seus cabelos duros de laquê pode se consolar sabendo que está em ótima companhia. Então, preparem suas armas, afiem as facas, e divirtam-se. Ninguém, mas ninguém mesmo, vai sair desta ileso.
